How to select

Fix the total run with its corners, steps and gates, the height and the section length, and the rail levels first, then the post and rail sections and the bar spacing. Those answers, with the surface treatment over the galvanised tube, the colour and the bolt detail, settle the post fixing and the shop drawing. Whether the school variant is wanted — generally no higher than 2 m — is a further decision that changes the bolt detail.

This is the railing we quote most often for a boundary that has to be closed but still read as light — a residential perimeter, a school line, a factory edge or a farm boundary. It is assembled with bolts rather than welded on site, so a struck bay or a section taken out for a gate or a service trench can be unbolted and replaced and the line goes back together as it was. The base material is hot-dip galvanised steel tube, inside and out, and the finish or the colour is applied over that tube.

Photographs below show the product family; the specification on this page is the manufacturer's published figure and is quoted unchanged.

01 · Product overview

What the zinc-steel perimeter railing is made of

The published figures are 1.8 m high × 3 m wide as the usual section and 1.2 m × 2 m as the other standard section, a height range of 1.2–2.0 m made to order, 2–4 rail levels, posts and rails of 50 × 50 / 40 × 40 mm and vertical bars of 19 × 19 mm.

This railing is assembled with bolts rather than welded on site, and that choice shows up later. A bay that has been struck, or a section that has to come out for a gate or a service trench, can be unbolted and replaced without cutting into the run, and the line goes back together as it was. The base material is hot-dip galvanised steel tube, inside and out, and the finish is applied over that tube.

The section size the manufacturer treats as standard is 1.8 m high × 3 m wide, with 1.2 m × 2 m as the other standard section; the range is published as 1.2–2.0 m high, made to order above or below that. The published specification for the range gives 2–4 rail levels, posts and rails of 50 × 50 / 40 × 40 mm and vertical bars of 19 × 19 mm. A roll mesh version in 1.5 m, 1.8 m or 2 m height by 30 m rolls is supplied for farming use.

Surface treatment is hot-dip galvanising, hot-dip dipping or electrostatic spray, with hot-dip dipping the most common. Colours run from black frosted, milky white, grass green, sky blue, deep pink and light pink to gloss black, with champagne, bronze and imitation copper as special colours. Sections are fixed with stainless-steel security bolts; the school variant uses half-round-head square-neck bolts with anti-theft washers and is generally no higher than 2 m. On the perimeter-railing page the manufacturer states a four-layer anti-corrosion treatment with a service life of more than ten years — we repeat that as the manufacturer's own claim, not as a guarantee, and we confirm in writing what finish and what warranty wording we can supply for your project.

Where a low rail is wanted along a lawn, a planter or a green belt rather than a full boundary height, planter railing is the section we quote instead, and where the line is called for in an extruded PVC profile, PVC railing is the usual alternative. Tell us the total run with its corners, steps and gates, where the railing is going and the colour reference or sample, and the sections, post size, bolt detail and footing are confirmed on the shop drawing.

04 · Made to your drawing

Made to the project specification

Send us the drawing or the standard you follow and we confirm in writing what we can supply against it. For a zinc-steel railing, that means the height, the section length, the rail levels, the post and rail sections, the bar spacing, the finish, the colour and the bolt detail, with the run in metres and the corners, steps and gates along it.

What settles this specification

The height and section length, the rail levels, the finish over the galvanised tube, the colour, and the bolt detail — including whether the school variant is wanted, which is generally no higher than 2 m.

06 · Questions buyers ask

Zinc-Steel Perimeter Railing — frequent questions

Every answer below repeats a figure or a term already published on this page; nothing is added to the specification here.

How is the railing fixed down?

The sections are assembled without welding and bolted together on site with stainless-steel security bolts, and the school variant uses half-round-head square-neck bolts with anti-theft washers. The post fixing to the ground is the row listed as made to the project specification: send us the drawing or the standard you follow and the footing or base detail is confirmed on the shop drawing. Because the assembly is bolted, a bay that has been struck or a section that has to come out for a gate or a service trench can be unbolted and replaced.

What is made to my drawing?

The published rows — the usual section 1.8 m high × 3 m wide, the other standard section 1.2 m × 2 m, the 1.2–2.0 m height range, 2–4 rail levels, posts and rails of 50 × 50 / 40 × 40 mm and vertical bars of 19 × 19 mm — are quoted unchanged. What is confirmed against your drawing is the height, the section length, the rail levels, the post and rail sections, the bar spacing, the finish, the colour and the bolt detail, with the run in metres and the corners, steps and gates along it.

Is there a published price, and where is the MOQ decided?

The page carries one product / model reference: zinc-steel perimeter railing (锌钢围墙护栏) — hot-dip galvanised steel tube railing for boundary, residential, school, factory and farm use. Price: quoted per order — FOB Wuhan / Shanghai, CIF or DDP. MOQ, loading plan and lead time are confirmed per specification — send the drawing, quantity and destination port and we reply within one business day.

How is the order packed, and what documents come with it?

Posts, rails, bars and fittings are bundled and palletised for container loading; the exact packing method is confirmed per specification with the loading plan. Documents are the proforma invoice, commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin as required. Buyers who need CE / EN / ASTM documentation tell us the standard, and it is confirmed in writing what can be supplied.

Which finish and colour can be specified?

Surface treatment is hot-dip galvanising, hot-dip dipping or electrostatic spray, with hot-dip dipping the most common. Colours run from black frosted, milky white, grass green, sky blue, deep pink and light pink to gloss black, with champagne, bronze and imitation copper as special colours, and the colour row is RAL to sample — send the reference or a physical sample and the coating is confirmed on the shop drawing.
