How to select

Fix the mesh aperture, the frame material and section, the post section and the panel size first, then the surface, the colour and the run with its corners and openings. Frame and post are chosen together, because the panel is fixed to the post along the frame. Those answers settle the shop drawing, the packing and the loading plan.

This is the mesh fence that keeps a flat face. Welding the mesh into a frame closes the edges of the sheet, so the panel holds its shape across the span instead of sagging between fixings, and the run reads as a built unit rather than a stretched sheet tied to posts. That is what gets specified where the fence is seen up close — schools, housing, industrial frontages, courts and boundary runs that change direction — and where the frame and the post have to meet properly for the line to look right.

Photographs below show the product family; the specification on this page is the manufacturer's published figure and is quoted unchanged.

01 · Product overview

What the framed mesh fence is made of

The published build is a welded mesh panel welded into a 20 × 30 mm or 20 × 40 mm rectangular tube frame at 0.8 / 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.5 mm wall, carried on ø48 mm round posts at 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.5 / 2.0 mm wall or on 40 × 40, 60 × 60, 40 × 60 and 80 × 80 mm square posts at 0.8–2.0 mm wall.

Welding the mesh into a frame turns a flexible sheet into a unit. The panel is welded from low-carbon steel wire to the aperture the customer specifies, and then that mesh is welded into a frame of square tube, round tube, rectangular tube or angle steel, so the edges are closed and the face stays flat across the span instead of sagging between fixings.

The published frame is 20 × 30 mm or 20 × 40 mm rectangular welded tube with a wall of 0.8, 1.0, 1.2 or 1.5 mm. Posts are ø48 mm round tube at 1.0, 1.2, 1.5 or 2.0 mm wall, or square tube in 40 × 40, 60 × 60, 40 × 60 or 80 × 80 mm with a wall from 0.8 to 2.0 mm. Frame and post are chosen together because the panel is fixed to the post along the frame, and the two sections have to meet properly for the line to look right.

Finish is electro-galvanised or hot-dip galvanised and then PVC dipped, or galvanised plus powder coating, in white, green, dark green, grass green, black, blue or yellow. Mesh aperture and panel size follow the drawing, so the panel is quoted to the run rather than to a catalogue size.

Framed mesh is usually chosen where the fence is seen up close and has to look deliberate: schools, housing, industrial frontages, courts and boundary runs that change direction. Where the panel has to be rigid as welded mesh rather than framed, double-wire mesh fence is the welded alternative, and where the line needs an angled head instead of a top rail, anti-climb Y-post fence carries the same mesh in a Y-shaped post. Send the aperture, the frame and post section, the colour and the run with its corners and openings, and the build is confirmed on the shop drawing.

04 · Made to your drawing

Made to the project specification

Send us the drawing or the standard you follow and we confirm in writing what we can supply against it. For framed mesh fence, that means the mesh aperture, the frame material and section, the post section, the panel size, the surface and the colour, with the run, its corners and its openings.

What settles this specification

The frame material and section, the post section, the mesh aperture and the panel size, the colour and the run. Frame and post are chosen together, because the panel is fixed to the post along the frame.

06 · Questions buyers ask

Framed Mesh Fence — frequent questions

Every answer below repeats a figure or a term already published on this page; nothing is added to the specification here.

How is the framed mesh fence fixed down?

The panel is fixed to the post along the frame, and frame and post are chosen together because the two sections have to meet properly for the line to look right. The published posts are ø48 mm round tube at 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.5 / 2.0 mm wall, or square tube in 40 × 40, 60 × 60, 40 × 60 or 80 × 80 mm at 0.8–2.0 mm wall; the run with its corners and openings is confirmed on the shop drawing.

What is made to my drawing?

The mesh aperture and the panel size are made to the project specification, and the frame material and section, the post section, the surface and the colour are chosen with them. Mesh aperture and panel size follow the drawing, so the panel is quoted to the run rather than to a catalogue size. Send the drawing or the standard you follow and we confirm in writing what we can supply against it.

Is there a catalogue model number or a published price?

No catalogue model number is issued until the drawing is agreed. Price is quoted per order — FOB Wuhan / Shanghai, CIF or DDP — and MOQ, loading plan and lead time are confirmed per specification; send the drawing, quantity and destination port and we reply within one business day.

What is the MOQ, the loading plan and the lead time?

All three are confirmed per specification — send the drawing, quantity and destination port and we reply with MOQ, loading plan and lead time within one business day. The figures are not published as fixed numbers, because the frame section, the post section and the panel size are made to the drawing.

How is the order packed and what documents come with it?

Panels, posts and fittings are bundled and palletised for container loading; the exact packing method is confirmed per specification with the loading plan. Documents are the proforma invoice, commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin as required. Buyers who need CE / EN / ASTM documentation tell us the standard, and it is confirmed in writing what can be supplied.
