How to select

Fix the mesh shape and aperture, the wire diameter, the post section and the post spacing first, then the panel height, the surface — hot-dip galvanised, powder coated or PVC dipped — and the colour reference. Those answers settle the panel drawing, the clamps and post caps, the packing and the quotation.

This is a welded panel rather than a woven one. Two horizontal wires carry a single vertical wire welded across the pair, so the panel resists being pushed, leaned on or bowed in a way a single-wire welded sheet does not, and it still arrives as a flat, even face. That is what gets specified where a site wants a firm, orderly line for years rather than a temporary screen.

Photographs below show the product family; the specification on this page is the manufacturer's published figure and is quoted unchanged.

01 · Product overview

What the double-wire mesh fence is made of

The published figures are a panel height of 1.0–3.0 m, round or square posts supplied with clamps and matching post caps, and a surface of hot-dip galvanised, powder coated or PVC dipped; mesh aperture, wire diameter and post spacing are made to the project specification.

Two horizontal wires carrying one vertical wire is a small change in the drawing and a large one in the panel. The vertical wire is welded across the pair, so the panel resists being pushed, leaned on or bowed in a way a single-wire welded sheet does not, and it still arrives as a flat, even face rather than a stiffened grid with a heavy look. The wire is low-carbon steel and the mesh can be square or rectangular.

Panel height is published as 1.0–3.0 m and is set by the project. Posts are round or square and are supplied with the clamps and post caps that match the section, so the panel is fixed along its height rather than resting on the post. The finish is hot-dip galvanised, galvanised and then powder coated, or PVC dipped where a thicker, softer coating is wanted, and colour is matched RAL to a reference or a physical sample.

This is a perimeter panel for sites that want a firm, orderly line: residential boundaries, industrial plants, road and rail frontages, airports and sports courts. Where the panel is wanted inside a rigid frame instead, a framed mesh fence is the alternative, and where the line wants a woven mesh face rather than a welded one, chain-link fence is quoted instead. Gates, corner posts and bracing are quoted with the run rather than added later, so the opening widths decide the gate posts on the same drawing.

Because the family is specified by the project, we publish no single mesh or wire figure for it. Mesh aperture, wire diameter, post section, post spacing and panel height are all made to your drawing or the standard you follow, and each one is written back to you on an approved shop drawing before production starts.

04 · Made to your drawing

Made to the project specification

Send us the drawing or the standard you follow and we confirm in writing what we can supply against it. For double-wire mesh fence, that means the mesh shape, the wire diameter, the post section and spacing, the panel height, the surface and the colour reference, plus the run with its corners and gate openings.

What settles this specification

The mesh and wire, the post section, the panel height, the surface and the colour reference. Because the family is specified by the project, all of them are taken from your drawing rather than from a catalogue page.

06 · Questions buyers ask

Double-Wire Mesh Fence — frequent questions

Every answer below repeats a figure or a term already published on this page; nothing is added to the specification here.

How is the panel fixed to the post?

Posts are round or square and are supplied with the clamps and post caps that match the section, so the panel is fixed along its height rather than resting on the post. The post section and the post spacing are confirmed against the drawing.

Can the mesh and the wire be made to my drawing?

Yes. Mesh aperture, wire diameter, post section, post spacing and panel height are all made to your drawing or the standard you follow, and each one is written back to you on an approved shop drawing before production starts. The panel height published for the family is 1.0–3.0 m.

Is there a catalogue model number or a published price?

No catalogue model number is issued until the drawing is agreed. Price is quoted per order — FOB Wuhan / Shanghai, CIF or DDP — and MOQ, loading plan and lead time are confirmed per specification; send the drawing, quantity and destination port and we reply within one business day.

What surface and colour can be supplied?

The published surface is hot-dip galvanised, galvanised and then powder coated, or PVC dipped where a thicker, softer coating is wanted. Colour is matched RAL to a reference or a physical sample, and the coating is confirmed on the shop drawing.

How is the order packed and what documents come with it?

Panels, posts and clamps are bundled and palletised for container loading; the exact packing method is confirmed per specification with the loading plan. Documents are the proforma invoice, commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin as required. Buyers who need CE / EN / ASTM documentation tell us the standard, and it is confirmed in writing what can be supplied.
