The peach post is a closed, shaped section, and it is the reason this line reads differently from a plain tube post fence. The welded mesh panel is carried on it so that the post presents a rounded face rather than an open edge, and the panel arrives as a flat, welded sheet fixed to the section. The same post list also includes square, round and new anti-theft posts, so a project can use one of those where the shaped section is not wanted.
Two other lines in the same series are usually read next to this one. Where a rigid panel of horizontal and vertical wires is wanted, a double-wire mesh fence uses two horizontal wires with a single vertical wire welded into the panel and carried on round or square posts with clamps and post caps. Where an open woven face is preferred instead, a chain-link fence uses woven diamond mesh on round or square posts. Neither is a substitute for the shaped post section, and all three are quoted from the same Wuhan workshop.
Nothing about the panel is fixed at catalogue size. Mesh aperture, wire diameter, panel height and width and the post spacing are all made to the project specification, or confirmed against the drawing or the buyer's standard the project follows. That is deliberate: a boundary is usually set out around a building line, a kerb or a plot edge, and the panel is cut to suit it rather than the other way round.
Finish is drawn from the finishes published for the wire mesh fencing series — hot-dip galvanised, powder coated or PVC dipped — with the one for the order confirmed on the drawing. Colour is likewise a project decision, taken from a reference or a sample.
